Sylvene is the name of my High-Elf Magician in the world of EverQuest and my gaming handle since 1999. I wrote under that name for Stratics and MMORPG.com when they used handles instead of real names.

I am a part-time Freelance Writer and cover Electronic Games and the Gaming Industry involved, with a focus on MMOGs and Childrens Games. My current writing can be found on MMORPG.com, Beckett Massive Online Gamer, their new Fun Online Games magazine for kids and teens, Commonsense Media, Inside Social Games as well as on the ocassion, PC.IGN.com and Gamers Info Network . I also update (sporadically) various pieces of prose and poetry here on my site.
